Timothy Alan Poosikian passed away on Dec. 3rd, 2014. We lost an immensely beautiful human being, beloved husband of Maria Poosikian, father of Cole and Reid Poosikian.
Timothy is also survived by his mother Valerie Poosikian, father Zarah and his wife Heidi Poosikian, his sister Kimberlee Poosikian and her husband Christopher Silva, as well as his brother Craig Poosikian.
Tim grew up in Demarest, N.J. He attended Arizona State University and graduated from The Art Institute of Boston. A successful entrepreneur, Tim developed and operated a commercial photography business in Cresskill, NJ and later a promotional advertising company in Ridgefield, CT. He served on various community projects and boards, was a talented artist, photographer and inventor.
Tim was known for his love of life, good food and his great sense of humor. He pursued many interests and hobbies including golf, fishing, boating, carpentry and woodworking. He was a devoted Red Sox fan.
Timothy was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need and was known for his generosity, kind spirit and charismatic personality. A devoted and loving family man, husband, father, son, brother and friend, Tim brought joy to many people. He will be deeply missed.
On Sunday, December 28th at 11:00 AM the regular Holy Liturgy service will take place at St. Thomas Armenian Church, 174 Essex Drive, Tenafly, NJ, followed by a Requiem Service in Timothy’s honor. A reception in celebration of Timothy’s life will be held immediately after the above service in the Atrium, adjacent to the church.
