Ann Jepson, 78, friend of the library

Ann Jepson, 78, passed away Sunday, March 23, at home in Ridgefield, CT.

Ann was a longtime resident of Red Oak, IA, where she was a school teacher for over 20 years. After moving to Ridgefield, CT, Ann was a longtime member of the Friends of the Ridgefield Library and was instrumental in the effort to reconstruct the Ridgefield library.

Ann is survived by her two daughters, Melissa Buckwalter and husband Rod of Ridgefield, CT, and Melinda Adams and husband Stuart of Boulder City, NV, and her son, Jim Majure and wife Laura of Des Moines, IA; 6 grandchildren Eve Michael and husband Tom, Emily Buckwalter, James Adams, Mary Adams, Ann Majure and Mitch Majure. She is also survived by numerous cherished friends in both Red Oak and Ridgefield.

A celebration of Ann’s life will be held at Silver Spring Country Club in Ridgefield, CT, from 12:00-2:00 on Saturday, March 29.
