Margaret (Webb) Hawthorne, 104, of Ridgefield, formerly of Stamford, wife of the late Robert D. Hawthorne, died on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Laurel Ridge Health Care, Ridgefield.
Mrs. Hawthorne was born in Stamford, January 27, 1910, daughter of William and Elizabeth (Brace) Webb. She attended Stamford schools, was a retired corporate secretary with Lomass and Nettleton Co. of Stamford. She was a sixty-six year member of the Stamford Baptist Church.
Surviving are two grandsons, Shane Hawthorne of Danbury, CT and Gunner Hawthorne of Des Moines, IA and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Hawthorne was predeceased by a son, Robert W. Hawthorne, late of Ridgefield.
Graveside funeral services and burial will take place on Friday at 2 pm in Fairfield Memorial Park Cemetery, Stamford with Pastor John Revell of the Stamford Baptist Church officiating.
There will be no calling hours.
