Louis Vivenzio

Louis Vivenzio, 46, of Sharon, CT, husband of Renee Merrell-Vivenzio, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2013.

Louis was born February 12, 1967 in Brooklyn, NY.  He was the son of Louis and Gina (Kibler) Vivenzio. He received his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University in 1990, and later, his MBA from the Whitman School of Management. He was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society of Collegiate Schools of Business.

Louis was passionate about his Alma Mater and was actively involved, returning as a Guest Teacher, Keynote and Commencement Speaker,

Beloved “DaDa” to Lucas and Aidan and devoted husband to Renee, Louis had an adventurous spirit and was a very active philanthropist. A true patriot, Louis loved his country and was committed to the Wounded Warrior Project. He was an avid reader, a painter, a musician, a wood carver, an outdoors-man and a master chef. Family and friends affectionately referred to him as a modern day “Renaissance” man.

He was employed as Senior Vice President, at General Re Intermediaries Corporation and was recently promoted to SVP, Chief Marketing Officer.

In addition of his wife Renee, Louis is survived by his sons, Lucas, 6, and Aidan, 4, of Sharon, CT.  His mother, Gina, sister, Lauren Vivenzio, her husband, Mesut Uludag, and niece Ela, of Brooklyn; his father-in-law, Dan Reidy and mother-in-law, Barbara Reidy, of Danbury, CT; his brother-in-law, Rob Merrell, his wife Elizabeth Merrell, and their children Nolan and Kayleigh Merrell, of Chicago, IL; his sister-in-law, Amanda Reidy, of Boston, MA.  Louis is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.  Louis was pre-deceased by his father.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service was held on Sunday, October 6th at The First Congregational Church of Ridgefield, CT

The Kenny Funeral Home of Sharon, CT took care of the arrangements.
